Australian Co. Paid $224 Million to Hussein in Kickbacks and Bribes
A report investigating the UN food-for-oil program was released today and showed that Australian company AWB had paid Hussein in a scheme designed to deceive the United Nations. AWB initially withheld thousands of documents and its lawyers made false statements. The investigation turned up that several other companies may have worked with the AWB to hide the payments.
