Report: DOJ Refusing Prosecution of Terror Cases
A new report out of Syracuse University shows that the Justice Department is trying fewer international terrorism cases from the FBI. In 2001 prosecutors rejected 33%, but from October '05 to June '06 they declined to prosecute 87% of cases. The report raises issues about the work being done by the FBI because they appear to be producing less results with more staff. FBI assistant director John Miller said the report is "intellectually dishonest." Check out the full AP story here and read the report here and decide for yourself.
