US and Russia Reach Deal over WTO Accession
The two countries reached an agreement that should be signed November 18, finally bringing Russia into the organization. It is currently the largest economy not included in the 149 member group. One hurdle is that Russia has sparred with the country of Georgia, which is already a member of the WTO and like all members has a veto on new members.
